Rheuben grew up in the deep south of NZ and completed his Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) in Accounting at the University of Otago in 2022. During this he secured a graduate role at a reputable mid-tier firm where he gained valuable experience over the next 2.5 years in business advisory and compliance sectors. Rheuben joined the Rodgers & Co team in 2025 following the decision to move back to the South Island, closer to family and extracurricular activities.

Away from the desk, Rheuben is a compulsive boulderer and you can find him out at Castle Hill or in one of the local bouldering gyms. Rheuben prioritises his relationships and creating community whether that be at work, sport, or his church community where he is actively involved in various capacities.
